A CREF grant-funded collaboration between the Elementary Visual Arts teachers and the Artist in Residence program is providing every third grade student in Council Rock with learning the technique of creating Claymation movies using digital media and clay. Each class will work together to design and create an actual movie using the iMotion program. This project provides the opportunity for students to take on the role of artist, photographer, digital editor and art critic.

Visiting artist, Dan Simcox, spent the day helping third graders create “I-stop Motion” movies at Churchville – check out these photos. Stay tuned! The resulting movies will be played at the April 2015 District Art Show.
